Europe House Vukovar was founded in 2000 with the aim to improve the quality of life of all citizens and foster the social, economic and cultural development of the town. Due to the still existing deep divisions between different ethnicities in the community one of the goals is to help rebuild the trust and break down prejudice, hence working to achieve a better social cohesion among the townspeople. Those goals are achieved through various projects and activities for beneficiaries of all ages, sexes, ethnic and religious belonging, where the citizens are informed and educated.
The topics of our projects and activities are e.g. overcoming trauma, non-violent communication, fostering dialogue, conflict management, human rights, economy, ecology, self-help (considering physical and mental health) and youth work.
